Job summary

News Corporation, through its Dow Jones technology arm, seeks a Senior Engineer to design and implement SAP Analytics Cloud analytics and planning solutions. You will build data models, dashboards, and planning models, integrating SAP and non-SAP sources to deliver financial insights and fast performance.

You will partner with FP&A and technology teams to translate business asks into technical specifications and ensure high-speed data rendering across live and import connections.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of analytics or BI experience, with at least 2+ years in SAC in finance-focused roles.
• Proficient with SAC formulas, data actions, multi-actions, allocations, and currency conversion.
• Experience modeling data from SAP and non-SAP sources; SQL proficiency; Tableau skills; SAC certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end SAC solutions, including data models, stories (dashboards), and analytical applications.
• Implement SAC Planning models with Data Actions, Multi-Actions, and Advanced Formulas for budgeting and forecasting.
• Configure live and import data connections between SAC and sources like S/4HANA, Datasphere, and Snowflake.
• Performance tuning for stories and data models to ensure high-speed rendering and great UX.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business leads to translate requirements into technical specifications.
