Job summary

Dow Jones in Princeton, NJ seeks a Senior Engineer for SAP Analytics Cloud to design, develop, and implement advanced SAC analytics and planning solutions. You will architect SAC models, stories, and data connections, collaborating with FP&A and Enterprise Technology to translate business requirements into scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Analytics or BI roles, with at least 2+ years hands-on SAC experience in a finance-focused environment.
• Mastery of SAC advanced formulas, data actions, and multi-actions.
• Proven experience integrating and modeling data from SAP (S/4HANA, Datasphere) and non-SAP sources into a unified analytics platform.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Tableau for data visualization; Snowflake experience; SAC certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end SAC solutions, including data models, stories, and analytical apps.
• Implement SAC Planning models, leveraging Data Actions, Multi-Actions, and Advanced Formulas for budgeting and forecasting.
• Configure live and import data connections between SAC and SAP/non-SAP sources (S/4HANA, Datasphere, Snowflake).
• Conduct performance tuning for stories and data models to ensure fast rendering and a seamless user experience.
• Partner with FP&A and business leads to translate requirements into technical specs.
