Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of SAP ABAP experience with S/4HANA and RAP projects.
• Strong ABAP on HANA, CDS data modeling and RAP capabilities.
• Experience with Fiori/UI5, OData services and UI integration.
• Agile/Scrum practices using Jira, Confluence and Git-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Backend development with ABAP RAP for transactional/analytical objects.
• Data modeling with CDS views and AMDP for SAP environments.

• Uphold Clean Core by avoiding legacy modifications and using released APIs.

Role Overview

• Core Focus: Clean Core custom extensions, OData service provisioning, and intuitive web interfaces.
• Environment: SAP S/4HANA (On-Premise or Public/Private Cloud), SAP BTP ABAP Environment, Agile/Scrum.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design and build transactional and analytical business objects using ABAP RAP (managed and unmanaged behaviors).
• Data Modeling: Create and optimize CDS Views and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
• Frontend Integration: Develop, customize, and deploy SAPUI5 freestyle apps or Fiori Elements. Expose OData V2/V4 services.
• Clean Core Compliance: Follow SAP Clean Core strategy by avoiding legacy modification practices and using released cloud-ready ABAP APIs.
• Collaboration & Delivery: Work with functional consultants to turn business needs into technical designs. Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Stack: Advanced ABAP, ABAP on HANA, Core Data Services (CDS), and RAP.
• UI Skills: SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and OData protocol understanding.
• Methodologies: Agile/Scrum workflow experience (Jira, Confluence, Git-based source control).
• Experience: 5 to 10+ years of total SAP ABAP experience with a solid portfolio of delivered S/4HANA/RAP projects
