Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to perform advanced analysis, design, coding, and testing across enterprise SAP environments, focusing on HANA-based ABAP development and extensibility within S/4HANA. You will collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants and client teams to deliver scalable technical solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in RAP ABAP, IDocs, APIs, SAP Integration Suite, and RICEFW development, with strong problem-solving and hands-on

Responsibilities

Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical design and application architecture
Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants and client teams to evaluate alternatives and recommend optimal technical solutions
Prepare technical specifications, diagrams, and coding logic flowcharts for enhancements, modifications, and system installations
Develop complex RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
Build and enhance applications using RAP ABAP, OData services, BADIs, User Exits, Forms, and Workflows
Integrate SAP systems with middleware and external systems via IDocs, APIs, Files, SOAP, and SAP Integration Suite
Apply advanced SAP ABAP for HANA development techniques including AMDP, CDS-based processing, and performance tuning
Implement key user and developer extensibility within SAP S/4HANA
Support testing cycles, troubleshoot defects, and ensure high‑quality technical delivery
