Job summary

Sanmina-SCI Technology India Private Limited in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Staff SAP ABAP Developer to join our ERP software team. You will support SAP ECC customizations, document and develop RICEF objects, and work with external developers on integrations.

You will document technical designs, implement ABAP code, create unit tests, review code, and assist in user trainings. The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS/EE and 5+ years in SAP ABAP, with strong problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years IT experience.
• At least 5+ years SAP ABAP development.
• Experience building Interfaces, Conversions, Reporting, Dialog programming, User Exits, Enhancement Points, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, Function Modules, RFCs, Smart Forms, IDOCs.
• OOPS ABAP knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication, technical, problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Create technical specifications from functional requirements.
• Write technical design documentation.
• Develop ABAP code to implement RICEF objects.
• Create unit tests and perform unit testing.
• Participate in code reviews and system integration testing.
• Prepare user training documents and assist training sessions.
• Follow best practices and development standards.
