Job summary

Baer is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for a 6+ month remote assignment based in the United States. You will design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and enhancements to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Key tasks include implementing BADIs and User Exits, developing reports (ALV, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs), and collaborating with SAP functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs. Remote work is supported for US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong experience developing and implementing BADIs and User Exits.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).
• Experience with SAP Enhancement Framework, Customer Exits, and enhancement implementations.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Dictionary, function modules, BAPIs, RFCs, and IDocs.
• Experience developing custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to independently analyze technical requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional SAP teams.
