Job summary

CSI Companies is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to support critical Supply Chain and Product Sourcing initiatives within an SAP S/4HANA environment. This role focuses on designing and delivering scalable ABAP solutions while partnering with functional teams supporting EWM, PPDS, and MDG domains.

This role requires US citizenship due to system access, offers a 40-hour work week, and is a remote, long-term consultant position with a competitive pay rate based on experience and credentials.

Job description

CSI Companies is seeking a Sr. SAP ABAP Developer to support critical Supply Chain and Product Sourcing initiatives within an SAP S/4HANA environment. This role will focus on designing and delivering scalable ABAP solutions while partnering closely with functional teams supporting EWM, PPDS, and MDG domains.

This role supports the Supply Chain, Ariba, and Product Sourcing technology team and works closely with functional, integration, and delivery partners across the enterprise.

Due to system access requirements, US Citizenship is required.

Hours: 40 hours/week

Location: Remote

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ABAP solutions supporting business?critical SAP S/4HANA processes
• Partner with functional stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs
• Support and enhance solutions across Supply Chain and Product Sourcing systems, including integration touchpoints
• Build and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems
• Contribute to modern S/4HANA development patterns, including service?based and Fiori?enabled architectures
• Participate in Agile delivery teams, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Review code for quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues
• Collaborate with cross?functional teams using Jira, Confluence, and modern collaboration tools

What we’re looking for:

• US Citizenship (required) due to specific system access
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP in an S/4HANA environment
• Proven experience designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining enterprise?scale applications
• Hands-on experience with at least ONE of the following SAP domains:
• EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
• PP / PPDS
• MDG (Master Data Governance)
• Experience translating functional specifications into technical solutions
• Experience developing and maintaining SAP integrations and interfaces
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and delivery tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience or exposure to RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) or strong willingness to ramp up
• Exposure to SAP BTP, including:
• API Hub or API Management
• Familiarity with CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) concepts
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab
• Experience with Solution Manager, Focused Build, or CHARM
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and operate effectively in a virtual team environment
