Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking an IT SAP Technical Developer III to design, develop, and support SAP solutions in a SAP S/4HANA environment using ABAP, BTP, and AI-enabled capabilities. Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver secure, scalable SAP tech aligned with governance and change control standards.

Responsibilities include developing reports, interfaces, CDS views, Fiori/UI5 apps, and SAP BTP integrations, while applying clean-core principles and emerging AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, IS, CS, business, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years SAP ABAP development in SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• Strong ABAP experience: reports, enhancements, BADIs, forms, workflows, OO techniques.
• Experience with integration: IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, OData, web services.
• Experience with SAP BTP, CDS views, Fiori/UI5, ADT, HANA, ABAP Cloud concepts.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools and AI concepts for automation and analytics.
• Experience across SAP modules (SD, FICO, MM, PP, WM, HCM) and AI extensions on BTP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, implement, and support SAP technical solutions.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions.
• Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, CDS views, OData, Fiori/UI5 components.
• Create SAP BTP apps and integrations, with side-by-side extensions and APIs.
• Apply clean-core extensibility, approved APIs, governance to reduce upgrade risk.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate coding, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Deliver SAP solutions with AI capabilities for automation, analytics, and decision support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with business users and Shared Applications team.
• Evaluate SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud capabilities to advance architecture and standards.
