Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Dallas, Texas, seeks an experienced SAP ABAP developer to design, develop, test, and support ABAP programs for S/4HANA environments and logistics modules. The role involves ABAP on HANA, AMDP, ODATA, and integration with FI, MM, SD, with a focus on performance and quality.

You will collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, work on CDS views, code pushdown, and participate in full lifecycle project implementations

Qualifications

• 12+ years in development and maintenance of SAP ABAP on HANA.
• Experience in S/4HANA implementations and logistics modules (FI, MM, SD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with performance tuning.
• Design, develop, test, and support ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms.
• Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, and code pushdown techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF).
• Work on Object-Oriented ABAP, ALV Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and Module Pool programming.
• Develop and support interfaces such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData services, and Web Services.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of ABAP programs.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Work on S/4HANA developments, including CDS Views, AMDP, and code pushdown techniques.
• Participate in full lifecycle implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure adherence to standards.
