Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a professional sanitarian by the State of Texas.
• Valid Texas driver’s license or equivalent.
• At least four (4) years of combined experience in manufactured/retail foods inspection.
• Experience in training work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Branch training and development for the Manufactured Food and Retail Unit.
• Plan, design, and evaluate training programs; develop training policies and procedures.
• Develop training solutions and assess training effectiveness.
• Coordinate with other branches to plan training; prepare and deliver presentations.
• Travel as needed for inspections, training and emergencies.
