Dept of State Health Services in Austin, TX is seeking a Sanitarian III to oversee and monitor drug and medical device program activities, review staff reports, and coordinate inspections and investigations.

The role requires interpreting state and federal regulations, preparing reports, training staff, and advising on enforcement actions. This is a full-time position with a day shift and telework eligibility.

Competenze

Registered Sanitarian in the State of Texas.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Required).
Two or more years of experience in reading and interpreting laws and rules and offering guidance to industry, public, or local health departments. (Preferred).
Two or more years inspection or compliance experience within a Drugs and Medical Device program (Preferred).

Mansioni

Oversee and monitor activities of the drug and medical device program personnel.
Review staff inspection reports and monitor complaints to ensure compliance with state and federal rules.
Coordinate program activities with department staff, State and Federal agencies, and local health officials to review processes and implement solutions.
