Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in implementing and optimizing Enterprise Storage platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a SAN environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform LUN creation, modification, and deletions.
• Troubleshoot and repair storage array component failures.
• Monitor and respond to issues on the enterprise Fiber Channel networks.

Skills

Creation/Modification of LUNs

Troubleshoot and manage problem resolution including root cause analysis

Good understanding of Windows Server Operating systems

Hands-on experience managing storage on VMware ESXi

Experience with Dell Compellent SAN

Extensive experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Fiber Channel Switches

In-depth experience with Disaster Recovery and Avoidance planning

Good Understanding of IP Storage Networks

Experience with Enterprise NAS

Excellent understanding of troubleshooting and optimizing storage I/O

In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Backup

Experience with VMware Site Recovery Manager

Good understanding of Linux Server Operating systems

10 yrs. as SME in complex enterprise level projects

Master’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience

Education
