Job summary

Precision for Medicine in Frederick, MD seeks a Senior Sample Management Specialist to coordinate, monitor, and oversee sample lifecycle activities across client projects. You will liaison with Project Management, Biorepository, Logistics, Kitting and Site Services, ensuring timely site shipments, accessioning, storage, and reporting.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, quality, and collaboration to support global clinical trials and biorepository programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years of biospecimen operations or clinical research experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and biospecimen handling standards.
• Experience with data governance and cross-functional client delivery.
• Experience with LIMS and biorepository systems.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for client projects on sample management.
• Attend kickoff, operational delivery, and governance meetings.
• Develop sample logistics plans and monitor end-to-end activities.
• Coordinate sample transfers and shipments.
• Monitor inventory and discrepancy management.
• Generate KPI reports and use Power BI/Excel.
• Ensure SOPs and GxP compliance and support audits.
