Enbridge is seeking a Senior Gas Storage Integrity Engineer to support safe, reliable operation of natural gas salt cavern storage assets. You will assess integrity, guide maintenance and capital decisions, and work with regulators and internal stakeholders.

The role requires a strong background in petroleum engineering, salt cavern operations, and U.S. regulatory compliance, with travel up to 30% and a hybrid work model.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of progressive engineering experience in natural gas storage, exploration and production.
• Knowledgeable in API well-design standards and wellbore integrity programs.
• Experience with salt cavern storage operations and well logging.
• Proficient in U.S. oil, gas, and underground storage regulations and safety practices.

Aufgaben

• Support storage integrity and capital projects for salt cavern assets in collaboration with Operations and contractors.
• Evaluate proposed changes using data from wireline tools, casing inspections, and integrity testing.
• Assist with state and federal regulatory audits by agencies such as RRC TX, Louisiana energy regulators, and PHMSA.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for operations, maintenance and capital work plans.
• Prepare technical and regulatory reports related to underground natural gas storage and asset integrity.
• Contribute to storage risk assessments, mitigation plans, and SOP development.
