Job summary

Enbridge seeks a Senior Gas Storage Integrity Engineer to safeguard the safety and reliability of our U.S. gas salt cavern storage assets.

You will work with Operations, Business Services, and regulators to assess wellbore and cavern integrity, guide maintenance and capital decisions, and support storage projects. The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 6+ years in gas storage or related fields, and strong knowledge of API standards, regulatory programs, and field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or Geological Engineering (or related)
• 6+ years of progressively responsible engineering experience in natural gas storage or related field
• Knowledge of API well-design standards and inspection methods
• Experience with salt cavern storage operations and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Support storage integrity and capital projects for salt cavern assets across operations and contractors
• Evaluate changes using wireline tools, casing inspections, and integrity testing data
• Assist with state and federal regulatory audits (Railroad Commission of Texas, Louisiana DEC, PHMSA)
• Provide data-driven recommendations for maintenance, budgets, and project planning
• Prepare technical/regulatory reports on underground natural gas storage and asset integrity
• Contribute to risk assessments and development of SOPs
