Formación

• 2+ years of tax experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department.
• Experience working on state audits.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• Solid Excel and Word skills.
• Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.
• Clear, professional communication and a talent for building relationships.
• The confidence to question the status quo and push for better processes.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly sales and use tax compliance, including reconciling the general ledger to the returns.
• Prepare quarterly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Research and implement tax rate and law changes that affect the business.
• Support senior analysts on state tax audits and audit defense.
• Monitor state tax legislation and help assess its impact on the company.
• Research the tax implications of new business initiatives and projects.
• Answer tax questions from internal teams and external customers.
