Job summary

nesto, Canada's leading mortgage technology provider, is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to test and automate Salesforce applications across Sales, Service, and Community Clouds. You will review user stories, create robust test plans, and execute both manual and automated tests while collaborating with developers and business teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience testing Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud).
• 2+ years with automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright, with Salesforce automation experience valued.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security models (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules).
• Experience with API testing using Postman for Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines in Salesforce environments.

Responsibilities

• Review manual test cases for Salesforce customizations (Lightning Web Components, Apex triggers, Flows) and advise automation suitability.
• Support and enhance test automation activities across development, system testing, and regression testing for multiple Salesforce releases.
• Review user stories to ensure test coverage across standard and custom Salesforce objects.
• Execute manual test cases and scripts using test management tools during development phases.
• Create and maintain test plans, cases, and data management strategies in line with QA standards.
• Set up and manage Salesforce testing environments (Sandboxes, Scratch Orgs) for test execution.
• Contribute to QA processes, tooling, and CI/CD within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Design, create, and run automation scripts with Playwright tailored to Salesforce Lightning, dynamic IDs, and Shadow DOM.
