Job summary

Salesforce Professional Services seeks a Senior Technical Architect to serve as a strategic advisor and Salesforce platform expert for large, complex enterprise customers. You will guide clients and colleagues in deploying emerging technologies, architect solutions, and ensure programs stay on track while driving business value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise architecture or consulting experience.
• 4+ years leading Salesforce core projects.
• Strong design, data, integration, and security architecture skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to defend viewpoints to diverse audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to develop audience-appropriate materials.
• Excellent listener; capable of engaging with diverse roles.
• Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
• Resourceful thinker capable of solving complex problems.
• Strong experience in integration concepts, designs and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the client.
• Lead internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice; contribute to the community's knowledge base.
• Guide customers in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that drive value.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly; teach and prescriptive thinking.
• Identify and manage risk areas; ensure issues reach complete resolution.
• Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions with customers and partners.
• Review project direction and artifacts to keep programs on track and maintainable.
• Work with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions.
• Contribute to program vision and advise on enabling technologies including the Salesforce Platform.
