Job summary

ELYON International, a federal-sector technology partner, seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer Lead to drive design, architecture, and hands-on delivery for a large federal healthcare modernization program.

You will lead Salesforce development teams, shape technical strategies, ensure secure, scalable solutions, and collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and DevSecOps to deliver mission-critical enterprise capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of software development experience.
At least 7 years of Salesforce development experience.
Minimum of 3 years leading Salesforce development teams within large enterprise environments.
Extensive experience developing custom Salesforce applications and integrations.
Expertise in designing and implementing scalable enterprise solutions.
Strong understanding of software architecture principles and secure coding practices.
Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, enhancement, and deployment of enterprise Salesforce solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and technical teams.
Architect and develop scalable solutions using Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and modern development frameworks.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
Establish and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with security, performance, and maintainability standards.
Design and develop complex integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve highly complex production issues.
Support platform modernization, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
Partner with Solution Architects to implement enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps.
Guide Agile development teams through sprint planning, design sessions, and release activities.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing and delivery of high-quality solutions.
Support DevOps and CI/CD automation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, accessibility, and governance requirements.
