Job summary

ELYON International is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead architecture for a large federal healthcare modernization program in the DC area. You will define Salesforce solution architecture, security models, and integration strategy while guiding DevSecOps and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT/application development experience, including significant Salesforce experience.
• 5+ years of Salesforce solution design, technical leadership, or architecture experience.
• Experience architecting enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
• Hands-on understanding of Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience designing complex enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Agile development and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to meet applicable federal background investigation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall Salesforce solution and technical architecture.
• Design scalable enterprise solutions using Salesforce platform capabilities and industry best practices.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into Salesforce architecture and solution designs.
• Establish architecture standards, development patterns, integration approaches, and technical governance.
• Provide architectural guidance to Salesforce developers, administrators, technical leads, and delivery teams.
• Design solutions spanning Salesforce configuration, custom development, data, integration, security, and automation.
• Lead technical and architecture design reviews.
• Design integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and external systems.
• Develop strategies for data migration, data modeling, data governance, and platform scalability.
• Define appropriate Salesforce security models, including identity, access, sharing, and permissions.
• Provide architectural oversight for Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, APIs, and other platform capabilities.
• Guide DevSecOps and CI/CD strategies for Salesforce development and releases.
• Support performance optimization and resolution of complex technical issues.
• Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities and recommend appropriate adoption strategies.
• Mentor Salesforce developers, administrators, and technical leads.
• Ensure solutions comply with applicable federal security, privacy, accessibility, and governance requirements.
