Job summary

Allegis Group is seeking a Salesforce Lead Application Developer to join the Connected program. You will research, design, develop, and optimize innovative Salesforce solutions, enabling critical business functions and a great user experience.

Responsibilities include leading design, coding, mentoring, and driving best practices within an agile environment. Office presence at Hanover, MD is required 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 8+ years Salesforce declarative development and platform programming (Process Builder, Workflows, Flows, Lightning App Builder; Visualforce, LWC, APEX, SOQL, SOSL).
• 3+ years Web App Development using JavaScript, CSS and HTML with SOLID patterns.
• Knowledge of Salesforce architecture, APIs, security configuration and user management.
• Experience integrating MuleSoft, REST/SOAP, oAuth and SSO.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Git/GitHub Actions and DevOps practices.
• Nice to have: Salesforce Sales/Service/Experience Clouds.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of complex Salesforce solutions with teams.
• Code, configure, unit test (80%+ coverage), and refactor in an Agile environment.
• Oversee SDLC for an 8+ person team to ensure timely feature delivery.
• Resolve defects, optimize performance, and support testing.
• Set coding standards and mentor developers via code reviews and PRs.
• Adopt new technologies and design patterns for scalability and maintainability.
• Communicate status, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders and leadership.
