vTech Solution in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Salesforce Integration & Data Engineer to lead a digital transformation, modernizing data integration between core source systems and Salesforce.

The role requires designing and implementing scalable real-time and batch data pipelines, decommissioning legacy SQL layers, and optimizing API usage to ensure data integrity and high performance.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Salesforce integration and data engineering.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs and event-driven architecture.
• Strong skills in Apex programming, Salesforce Triggers, and Lightning Web Components.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Celigo, or Azure Data Factory.
• Ability to rewrite and optimize complex SQL procedures and ETL processes for Salesforce environments.
• Experience designing data models for large data volumes within Salesforce.
• Knowledge of Salesforce governor limits and optimization techniques.
• Background checks and drug screenings as required.
• Candidate must be located in Phoenix and available for in-person interviews and start within two weeks of offer.

Responsibilities

This hybrid role requires designing and implementing scalable, real-time and batch data pipelines, decommissioning legacy SQL layers, and optimizing platform performance to ensure data integrity and efficient API usage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and phase out existing intermediate SQL relational databases serving as staging layers between source systems and Salesforce.
• Architect, develop, and deploy robust direct APIs (REST/SOAP) and event-driven integration patterns connecting upstream systems directly to Salesforce.
• Configure and maintain integration middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Celigo, or Azure Data Factory for data orchestration and transformation.
• Rewrite complex SQL stored procedures, views, and ETL logic into scalable Apex code, middleware logic, or declarative Salesforce flows.
• Design Salesforce data models to handle large data volumes with strategies to maintain system performance.
• Implement end-to-end exception logging and data reconciliation mechanisms to automatically identify and resolve synchronization failures.
• Develop custom asynchronous Apex code, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components as needed for data intake solutions.
• Optimize Salesforce environment to prevent API throttling, row-locking issues, and governor limit breaches through batching and queuing strategies.
