Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Salesforce Functional Consultant to design, configure, and optimize Salesforce solutions. You will gather requirements, translate them into scalable configurations, and collaborate with admins, developers, and business analysts to deliver value across sales and service teams.

The role demands deep knowledge of declarative Salesforce tools, strong communication, and the ability to drive end-to-end changes while staying current with releases and industry trends.

Qualifications

• BS/BA/MA in business, CS, information services or related field, or equivalent with 7+ years designing and implementing solutions.
• 5+ years’ experience in Salesforce administration or consulting.
• 5+ years’ experience with Sales and Support operations.
• 3+ years’ experience with the SFDC product suite.
• Experience with advanced Salesforce configuration (Flows, Process Builder, Lightning App Builder).
• Intermediate understanding of Apex/JavaScript for communicating requirements to developers.
• Salesforce Administrator certification required; additional Salesforce consultant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and analysts.
• Translate documented requirements into actionable Salesforce solutions.
• Design and configure Salesforce solutions using declarative tools (Flows, PB, etc.).
• Own end-to-end solution design and configuration process in SFDC.
• Manage improvements and new functionality in the SFDC application suite.
• Provide training and support to end users on Salesforce and related tools.
• Collaborate with Developers and stakeholders on status and issues.
• Utilize Salesforce best practices for release management and deployments.
• Create and maintain documentation on business processes and configurations.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and industry trends.
