Job summary

Mainspring Energy is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, build, and support Salesforce solutions across Field Service, Operations, and Customer Success. You will be the technical expert for Salesforce Field Service within a broader service ecosystem, translating complex requirements into scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Salesforce development, configuration, or implementation experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service in a complex operational environment.
• Strong experience with Service Cloud and the broader Salesforce platform.
• Proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, APIs, data modeling, and Salesforce security.
• Ability to independently work through technically ambiguous requirements and deliver production-ready functionality.
• Experience designing and supporting integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of field service processes including scheduling, dispatch, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience supporting Field Operations, O&M, Customer Success, or asset-intensive processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with Experience Cloud and customer/partner portals; Manufacturing/Sales Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, APIs, and native platform features.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, data models, integrations, and user experiences.
• Evaluate native Salesforce functionality before custom development or third-party apps.
• Ensure secure, maintainable solutions aligned with Salesforce best practices.
• Drive engineering discipline, version control, sandbox management, testing, and release processes.
• Produce technical documentation, test plans, and deployment materials.
• Develop and enhance Salesforce Field Service capabilities: work orders, scheduling, dispatch, service territories, and preventive maintenance.
• Build and support Service Cloud for case management, escalations, and customer communication; enable Experience Cloud.
• Provision users, troubleshoot mobile apps, perform data corrections, and support data quality.
• Collaborate with Field Operations, O&M, Customer Success, Engineering, and Enterprise Systems to deliver solutions.
