BPM is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer in Ontario to lead custom Salesforce development and third-party integrations. You will collaborate with engineers to maintain Salesforce apps and scale solutions for evolving business needs.

The role requires extensive Salesforce expertise, Apex/VisualForce/Lightning, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality code with security in mind. Remote options available across Ontario with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technical field.
• 6-8 years’ experience working in the Salesforce Ecosystem.
• Experience developing customer-facing UI/UX.
• Excellent Communication and Written skills.
• Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues.
• Ability to collaborate with Salesforce Consultants and clients.
• Proficient in SQL/SOQL, Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Components, Flows, Process Builder, Workflows.
• Salesforce Certified Developer Certifications.
• Additional certifications are encouraged
• Proficient iPaaS (Workato, Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft) skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into technical requirements.
• Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code with best practices.
• Ensure the best possible quality with minimal technical debt.
• Work with existing Salesforce Orgs to assess and correct technical debt associated with force.com, Apex Classes, triggers, Lightning components, and VisualForce pages.
• Help design and develop proprietary intellectual property for the practice.
• Take ownership of project work and developing client relationships.
• Identify bugs and align with requirements during debugging.
• Write test classes for the class that you develop and ensure more than 80% code coverage.
• Test bug fixes to make sure they work as per requirements, then deploy them to production.
• Write documentation and provide technical training for Salesforce users.
• Maintain strict security and integrity standards in all Salesforce environments.
