CEI in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer for a fully remote contract role. You will design, develop, test, debug, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning UI, and Salesforce APIs across multiple environments.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning UI and Salesforce APIs.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy scalable, high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Develop custom applications using Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration patterns (real-time, batch, sync/async).
Utilize Salesforce declarative tools (change sets, process builder, visual workflow, validation rules, assignment rules).
Ensure compliance with Salesforce Governor Limits and best practices.
Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including test-driven development, QA, and deployment across environments (development/staging/production).
Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and integrations.
