Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our DOS Consular Systems Modernization program in Herndon, VA. The role requires extensive Salesforce development experience, Agile methods, and experience deploying to sandboxes and production.

Responsibilities include building declarative apps with Flow and App Builder, integrating Salesforce with external systems, and working closely with customers and solution architects to deliver modernized capabilities in a secure, compliant environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher with years of experience as listed.
Experience with enterprise Salesforce projects throughout lifecycles.
Experience merging Salesforce git repos and resolving conflicts.
Experience deploying repos to sandboxes and test environments.
Proficiency in Visualforce, Apex, SOQL, SOSL.

Responsibilities

Develop, prototype, test and demonstrate capabilities to users.
Perform code merges, conflict resolution, and deployments to sandboxes/test environments.
Build apps using declarative customization such as flows and App Builder.
Design solutions and roadmaps for Salesforce-based modernization.
Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects and customers.
Architect Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements with CRM/CX tech.
Map capabilities and perform fit-gap analysis against Salesforce cloud/services.
Document and govern Salesforce solutions across lifecycles, ensuring security/compliance.
Develop interfaces and integrations from Salesforce to external systems.
Review project direction to keep programs on track and extensible.
Ensure testing and security requirements are met by development teams.
