Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Salesforce Architect to join the Department of State Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, part of the DT bureau. Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of hands-on implementation experience designing scalable technical solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Requires 3+ years in an architect role on large Salesforce implementations.
• Experience ensuring architecture meets federal compliance standards (ATO, accessibility).
• Ability to present and communicate technical solutions to clients from inception through implementation.
• Active Secret or higher clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and provide solution recommendations and roadmaps for Salesforce-based service modernizations.
• Work with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and customers to architect Salesforce solutions.
• Develop architecture models and blueprints depicting Salesforce solutions and service integrations.
• Document, maintain, and govern Salesforce solutions across lifecycles.
• Architect Salesforce solutions that integrate with external systems via REST APIs and microservices.
• Coordinate architecture reviews for new features and integrations; ensure scalability, compliance, and security.
• Contribute to program vision and advise on enabling technologies including the Salesforce Platform.
• Ensure testing, performance, and security requirements are met across development lifecycles.
