Job summary

Sonos, Inc. is seeking an experienced Salesforce engineer to join our Boston team. You will own end-to-end delivery of complex Salesforce features, building Apex, LWC, and Flow solutions, and guiding architectural decisions across service, platform, and commerce initiatives.

You will work closely with Salesforce product teams to design scalable solutions, ensure data integrity, and mentor junior engineers while advancing testing and observability across the org.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce engineering experience delivering complex solutions.
• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, and data models.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Service Cloud and Service Console with integrations.
• Experience designing Salesforce solutions and making architectural decisions.
• Experience designing API integrations and data consistency considerations.
• Knowledge of Salesforce platform limits, performance, testing, security, maintainable design.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and coordinated releases.
• Ability to guide technical decisions, review code, and mentor colleagues.
• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Embed with Salesforce product teams to define delivery scope and outcomes.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex features across design, build, test, and deployment.
• Design Salesforce solutions across service, platform, and commerce initiatives.
• Build Apex, LWC, and Flow solutions using standard platform capabilities.
• Apply Service Cloud expertise to complex workflows and integrations.
• Design and deliver Agentforce and AI-enabled capabilities within teams.
• Diagnose issues, improve performance, and address technical debt.
• Review code and designs; mentor engineers and raise testing standards.
• Collaborate with the Salesforce Platform team on data models and releases.
• Document decisions and transfer knowledge to maintainers.
