Elastic is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Engineer & Dev Ops Specialist to own the Salesforce ecosystem—release lifecycle, GitHub administration, git automation, and CI/CD pipelines—while enabling Certinia PSA, CPQ/ARM, and enterprise initiatives.

You will blend hands-on platform development with release engineering and AI-native practices. The role emphasizes architecture-led delivery, security, and scalable solutions, with a distributed work model and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience across frontend, backend, APIs, and data modeling.
• Salesforce platform development with deep experience managing Git workflows, git automation, and CI/CD pipelines for enterprise deployments.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate scaffolding, refactoring, and debugging.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, SDLC, sandbox lifecycle management, and metadata deployment mechanics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Dev Ops operations, including GitHub administration, git automation, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipeline optimization.
• Design and build full-stack Salesforce features—UI, APIs, business logic, data models, and integrations using LWC, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and REST/event-driven patterns.
• Drive technical design and development across Certinia PSA, CPQ/ARM, and cross-functional enterprise initiatives.
• Utilize AI tools throughout the SDLC while maintaining oversight, code quality, and security on AI outputs.
• Establish robust deployment gates and telemetry to monitor pipeline efficiency and release health.
