The Coleman Group, Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join a team of Salesforce Developers, Admins, and Configuration Managers in Annapolis, MD. You will handle data migration/integration, data quality, and custom code within a student information system for higher education and military contexts.

The role requires on-site work in Annapolis with an initial two-week fully onsite training, then eligibility for a hybrid schedule with at least 3 days on-site. A US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng/MIS or related field preferred.
• 5+ years Salesforce development experience; Salesforce Developer certification strongly preferred.
• Solid Salesforce architecture knowledge and API experience.
• Experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong Oracle relational database understanding.
• Proven success with Salesforce migration/integration projects.
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal/written communication with customers, leadership and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical implementation of Salesforce permission sets, data flows, and Apex coding.
• Develop in Visualforce, Apex, and related tech to support a student information system.
• Provide technical leadership and follow best practices for integration, deployment, and testing.
• Define and manage a change management (release) process for new apps and updates.
• Adhere to standards and policies within the Client's Division.
