Senior Salesforce Developer (Technical Architect Level)
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer who operates at a Technical Architect level to drive the technical vision, design, and execution of our client’s Salesforce ecosystem. The role bridges high‑level architectural design and hands‑on technical execution, translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions. The position focuses on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and healthcare domain workflows while providing technical leadership and mentoring to the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs aligned with Salesforce best practices.
- Design scalable data models, system architectures, and sharing models.
- Lead the hands‑on development of complex Salesforce solutions.
- Develop custom solutions using Apex classes, triggers, controllers, Async Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows.
- Architect and build secure, high‑performance REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integrations with external platforms, electronic health records (EHR), and internal systems.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, coding standards, and mentoring junior developers.
- Optimize Salesforce performance, manage governor limits, and ensure platform security and compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, integration contracts, and deployment runbooks.
- Manage the release lifecycle using Salesforce DX and Git‑based version control.
- Evaluate Salesforce tri‑annual releases to identify opportunities for innovation or required refactoring.
- Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders, product managers, and cross‑functional technical teams to define requirements, manage technical debt, and support successful product delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of technical experience across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Proven implementation expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Exposure to Marketing Cloud is highly valued.
- Expert‑level proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and the Salesforce programmatic framework.
- Experience developing Salesforce solutions within the healthcare domain.
- Strong understanding of patient care workflows, medical data structures, and regulatory/privacy requirements.
- Strong capability in designing complex data models, managing platform boundaries and governor limits, and developing enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD deployment pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex code, asynchronous processing, and integration issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions to non‑technical stakeholders and business leadership.
