Property and Casualty Solution Architect
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Property and Casualty Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and integration of scalable insurance technology solutions. This role requires strong P&C insurance knowledge, hands-on .NET expertise, and the ability to guide development teams and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture and technical design for Property and Casualty insurance applications.
- Design scalable solutions supporting policy administration, underwriting, billing, claims, and related insurance functions.
- Define application architecture, integration strategies, design patterns, and technical standards.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and solution design documents.
- Review application designs and code to ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and infrastructure teams.
- Support the modernization of legacy insurance applications using cloud-native and .NET technologies.
- Identify technical risks and recommend practical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development and architecture experience.
- Strong experience within the Property and Casualty insurance domain.
- Hands‑on expertise with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, integration architecture, microservices, and design patterns.
- Experience integrating policy, claims, billing, underwriting, and third‑party insurance systems.
- Experience with relational databases and Entity Framework.
- Understanding of cloud architecture, CI/CD, DevOps, security, and application performance.
- Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
