Job summary

ValueMomentum is seeking a Senior Architect to lead enterprise architecture for a strategic P&C client engagement. You will drive end-to-end solution architecture, guide modernization programs, and partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of software engineering and architecture experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to influence Directors, AVPs, and CIO-level stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering and architecture experience.
• Strong experience in P&C Insurance domain (Policy, Billing, Claims).
• Proficient in .NET / cloud-native architectures (Azure).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across multiple programs (Forms Modernization, Data Platforms, AI initiatives).
• Define target state architecture, integration patterns, and system interactions.
• Lead architecture reviews, design governance, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Drive modernization initiatives involving forms, data, and AI solutions.
• Act as trusted advisor to client leadership (Directors, AVPs, CIO-level).
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and roadmaps.
• Participate in steering discussions and executive presentations.
• Provide hands-on guidance in integration patterns (REST APIs, messaging) and mentor teams.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to lead architecture and design initiatives for a strategic P&C insurance client engagement. This role will drive end-to-end solution architecture, support modernization programs (Forms, Data, AI), and partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect with strong leadership presence, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and guiding distributed teams across onshore and offshore models.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across multiple programs (Forms Modernization, Data Platforms, AI initiatives).
• Define target state architecture, integration patterns, and system interactions.
• Lead architecture reviews, design governance, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Drive modernization initiatives involving:
• Rules engines (e.g., Coherent or equivalent)
• Legacy system transformation (AS400 / VB-based systems)
• Define scalable patterns for API-led and event-driven architectures.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership (Directors, AVPs, CIO-level stakeholders).
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and roadmaps.
• Participate in steering discussions, architecture walkthroughs, and executive presentations.
• Provide hands-on guidance in:
• Integration patterns (REST APIs, messaging)
• Mentor engineering teams and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with AI teams to ensure scalable and secure implementations.
• Work closely with Delivery Managers to ensure:
• Feasible and scalable designs
• Alignment with timelines and budgets
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies early.

Requirements

Must have skills

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture
• Strong experience in P&C Insurance domain (Policy, Billing, Claims)
• .NET / Cloud-native architectures (Azure preferred)
• API design and integration frameworks
• Experience in modernization of legacy systems
• Strong understanding of data platforms and AI-driven solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have:

• Experience with GhostDraft, Coherent, or similar platforms
• Exposure to Duck Creek or other PAS systems
• Familiarity with ServiceNow (CMDB) and DevSecOps practices
• Experience working in onshore-offshore delivery models
• Prior experience in client-facing architect roles in consulting/services organizations
