We're hiring a Salesforce Technical Lead / Senior Salesforce Developer to help drive the design, development, and evolution of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting critical public sector operations.
This is a 2+ year contract
In this role, you'll be responsible for enhancing and supporting existing Salesforce customizations and integrations while architecting and delivering scalable new solutions that meet changing business needs. You'll partner with stakeholders to analyze requirements, identify process improvements, and translate complex business challenges into innovative technical solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, enhance, and support Salesforce applications, customizations, and integrations.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, identify process gaps, and recommend scalable solutions.
- Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Platform, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
- Develop and maintain custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Design and implement secure integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and large data volume (LDV) strategies.
- Support DevOps and release management processes using Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce security best practices, governance standards, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Produce technical documentation, solution designs, user guides, and system documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and architecture experience.
- Strong experience delivering complex Salesforce implementations, particularly within public sector environments.
- Proven expertise with:
- Service Cloud
- Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (Licensing, Permitting & Inspections - LPI)
- Salesforce Government Cloud
- Deep technical knowledge of:
- Apex
- Visualforce
- REST & SOAP APIs
- Experience with Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git.
- Strong background in data migration, integration development, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with Salesforce automation tools, including Flow and Process Builder.
- Experience with ETL and middleware solutions.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including role hierarchy, sharing models, permissions, and compliance frameworks.

- Experience partnering directly with stakeholders, business leaders, and executive teams.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.

- Reports to the Applications IT Supervisor
- Standard full-time schedule (Monday through Friday)
- Hybrid work arrangement may be considered (fully remote is not available)
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required based on project deadlines
