Job summary

DTS is seeking a Salesforce Developer/Architect in Lansing, MI to lead design, development, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions focused on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Field Service Lightning. You will guide architecture, ensure platform optimization, and align with MDHHS goals.

The role emphasizes transitioning legacy systems to a modern Salesforce-based platform, with a mix of technical leadership and hands-on development.

Qualifications

5+ years gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements with stakeholders.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code, branching strategies, automated code reviews, and testing.
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
2-3 Salesforce certifications required.
5+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce, SQL, Java, and web services development.

Responsibilities

Leading end-to-end architecture and technical design of Salesforce solutions for case management, field service, and user engagement.
Conducting org health checks and platform assessments with actionable recommendations.
Participating in Design & Discovery sessions and promoting Salesforce Well-Architected Framework adoption.
Providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams including state employees and contractors.
Translating complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and collaborating with analysts and stakeholders.
Overseeing proofs-of-concept to validate feasibility and value.
Ensuring secure development lifecycle practices across all phases.
