Job Summary:

The DTC offers premium streaming services with Hulu, which features originals, current season TV, a vast library of hit series and movies, and live television. Disney+ offers content from brands like Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, Disney, and NatGeo. Our DTC team seeks team-players to join the Viewer Experience (VX) team, who will embrace Disney and Hulu’s legacy, think unconventionally, and contribute to Disney’s DTC experience through strategic effort and innovation.

Role Overview:

The DTC - Viewer Experience (VX) team is hiring a Sr. Salesforce Administrator to support the Salesforce platform through development, implementation, and maintenance. The ideal candidate understands Salesforce’s features, capabilities, and best practices, and is passionate about solving business challenges with innovative solutions.

You will collaborate with departments such as Enterprise, Product, Engineering, IT, Operations, Data, and InfoSec to align initiatives with Disney DTC’s business goals.

This role requires transforming business needs into scalable solutions and managing complex global CRM and Help Center implementations. If you’re passionate about technology and service transformation, this role is ideal.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement customer service technology supporting DTC, leveraging cloud-native solutions for VX self-service and assisted service.
  • Maintain platform availability, scalability, performance, and data quality for high traffic and user volume, including system administration and integration support using APEX and administrative tools.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, advise on technology options, and customize solutions.
  • Manage backlog requests and projects, conduct testing, and ensure application stability.
  • Oversee user access control for over 6,000 internal users, ensuring compliance.
  • Coordinate with Salesforce Monitoring and Success teams to ensure system performance during key events.
  • Maintain database integrity through data cleansing, duplicate management, data loads, and role updates.
  • Prototype emerging technologies and implement innovative solutions for superior viewer experiences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; degrees in computer science or IT are a plus.
  • 5+ years Salesforce Administration experience.
  • Proven ability to develop high-quality software and features.
  • Experience leading technology transformation initiatives.
  • Skills in database creation, metadata management, UI, automation, APEX, Java, SOQL, SOSL.
  • Experience with analytics, personalization, omni-channel routing, approval processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile, test automation, CI/CD (DevOps).
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years on Salesforce platform development.
  • 1+ years designing on MuleSoft.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs and integrations.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, Service Cloud).
  • Experience supporting NICE CXOne Platform.
  • Experience in streaming media or subscription services.
  • Experience working with global and remote teams.

The salary range in Los Angeles, CA is $114,900–$154,100, and in San Antonio, TX is $109,400–$146,700. Compensation depends on experience, location, and other factors, with potential bonuses and benefits.
