Job summary

Zurich Agency Services (ZAS) in Overland Park, Kansas seeks a Senior Sales Support Administrator to back the internal ZAS Sales team and Zurich Direct Markets field sales organization. You will assist with day-to-day customer and policy servicing for executives, managers, and brokers.

The role requires a Property & Casualty license within 90 days (or willingness to obtain) and prior P&C insurance experience is preferred. You will manage accounts, renewals, certificates, and billing support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 3+ years in Administrative or Sales Support.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree and 1+ year in Administrative or Sales Support.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

Zurich Agency Services (ZAS) is a wholly owned insurance agency within Zurich North America that places business through a broad network of insurance carriers and brokers nationwide. Unlike a traditional single-carrier insurance operation, ZAS supports customers across multiple product lines through numerous carrier relationships, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate varying carrier requirements and systems.

The Senior Sales Support Administrator serves as a key operational partner supporting both the internal ZAS Sales team and Zurich Direct Markets field sales organization. This role provides day-to-day customer and policy servicing support to Account Executives, Sales Managers, District Area Managers, Account Specialists, customers, carriers, and brokers.

Licensing Requirements

• Must currently hold, or be willing and able to obtain, a Property & Casualty Insurance Producer/Agent License within 90 days of hire.
• Prior P&C insurance experience is strongly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up new customer accounts and policies
• Process policy endorsements and changes
• Handle policy cancellations and reinstatements
• Support renewal processing activities
• Issue Certificates of Insurance and Auto ID Cards
• Request and distribute loss runs
• Process policy audits
• Prepare customer invoices and support billing activities
• Assist with quoting requests for select insurance products
• Maintain accurate documentation and records within agency management systems
• Serve as a liaison between customers, carriers, brokers, and internal sales teams
• Support policy service requests and customer inquiries across multiple lines of business

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Administrative Support or Sales Support area

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Administrative Support or Sales Support area

• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed sales team
• Experience working with multiple systems and learning carrier‑specific processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and technology platforms

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The proposedHourly rate for this position is $24.66 - $33.89, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%.
