Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Six months supervisory experience or related training is preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and safety practices is necessary.
• Ability to operate a cash register and complete transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to the store's process.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise and rotate on shelves; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Greet customers entering the store.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise.
• Process payments and make change.
• Open/close store under direction of manager.
• Monitor cash levels and security procedures.
• Complete required paperwork on time.
