We're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our Government Risk & Fraud team. With a focus on identity fraud, program integrity and investigative markets, the Government Risk & Fraud Senior Sales Executive (SSE) is responsible for driving sales with new customers, as well as strengthening and growing existing revenues of public records and investigative content, integrated solutions, and emerging technologies within State government markets.

About The Role
In this opportunity as a Senior Sales Executive, you will:
Sales Expertise
Strong track record of closing complex, long-cycle enterprise deals ($200K-$1M+)
Deep understanding of state procurement processes and budgeting cycles: each state's fiscal and legislative calendar and cadence.
Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and decision-makers within state agencies, capable of drawing a decision-making tree as well as an influence map for large deals
Experience With RFX Processes And Government Contracting Requirements
Market Knowledge
Understanding of each state's priorities, challenges, and funding mechanisms: read the governor's strategic plan and any press/news/public comments. Understand how the money flows and in which departments that are relevant to our solutions.
Familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., CJIS, HIPAA, FedRAMP) and how they impact our specific business
Understanding of each state's MSA terms - or any other relevant contract vehicles.
Relationship Management
Ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical government officials - calling on the IT folks as well as the business/program managers
Experience working with systems integrators and other partners common in government sales
Independently participate in strategic networking opportunities within government associations and conferences
Performance Metrics
Consistent quota attainment on a quarterly or half year basis at least
Healthy pipeline management (3-5x quota)
Capable of thorough deal inspections to determine when a particular sale is viable or if we should walk
Ability to forecast accurately in long, complex sales cycles
Demonstrated account growth and expansion capabilities
Ability to articulate a strategic plan for a territory complete with details about how they will grow their business, where they will target and what support they need.
Technical Acumen
Strong understanding of CLEAR's technical capabilities, limitations and competitive stance. Strong grasp on Batch, batch macros and how to position.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical government officials
Knowledge of state IT infrastructure challenges and modernization trends
About You
You're a fit for the role of Senior Sales Executive if you:
Reside in the sales territory.
Minimum of 4-5 years direct field sales experience (sales experience in the government markets preferred) with exemplary track record of sales quota overachievement.
4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
Able to work from home office and travel to customer locations 70% of the time with up to 40% overnight travel.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $178,500 - $331,500.
This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
