What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive sales with new customers while growing existing revenues in public records and investigative content
- Navigate state procurement processes and manage complex sales cycles for enterprise deals
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials and systems integrators
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales performance
- Understand and communicate technical capabilities to non-technical stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4-5 years of direct field sales experience, preferably in government markets
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and closing complex deals ($200K-$1M+)
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work from a home office and travel to customer locations 70% of the time, including up to 40% overnight travel
- Strong understanding of state regulations and procurement processes

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in strategic networking within government associations and conferences
- Familiarity with state MSA terms and contract vehicles
- Technical acumen regarding state IT infrastructure challenges
