About The Role and Responsibilities

The Client Engagement Director is accountable for the growth of an Ensono client. This role owns the client relationship, identifying and leveraging company-wide resources to ensure client satisfaction, growth, renewal, and risk management. The director develops meaningful client relationships to enable growth and long-term client retention, driving profitable account growth through strategic relationship management and world-class delivery. Although this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, collaboration with teams across Ensono—including Service Delivery, Pricing, and Solutions Engineering—is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the main point of contact for the client, managing the commercial relationship and maximizing the service portfolio.
  2. Develop and expand executive and technical relationships within the client organization.
  3. Identify whitespace opportunities and promote a mix of Ensono products and services.
  4. Build strategic partnerships, including with account managers at Dell, AWS, and Microsoft.
  5. Manage messaging around operational stability and collaborate with Service Delivery Management.
  6. Enabling and selling new services across the client's IT landscape.
  7. Understand the client's competitive landscape and develop growth plans.
  8. Engage with advisory, consulting, and specialist teams to identify client needs.
  9. Participate in and lead regular business reviews with clients and internal teams.
  10. Manage the Ensono Executive sponsor program.
  11. Bring the right technical and sales resources to new opportunities.
  12. Drive client transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption and application modernization.
  13. Maintain and update client relationship maps and stakeholder information.
  14. Partner with Service Delivery to analyze and communicate client health and satisfaction.
  15. Use data to escalate and resolve service delivery issues impacting growth.
  16. Lead management reviews and influence internal teams to address operational challenges.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 15+ years of sales experience
  • Experience in enterprise-scale solution selling
  • Understanding of the managed services marketplace
  • Experience in a matrixed sales environment
  • Preferred: experience in managed services and consultancy sales
  • Ability to navigate mid- and large-sized enterprises for opportunity creation
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

Compensation

The estimated salary range is $140K to $244K annually, based on full-time employment and various factors. Additional incentives include sales commissions and equity grants.
