Senior Sales Engineer - Power Systems
The Senior Sales Engineer for Power Systems is responsible for developing and selling power control systems & solutions, as well as upgrading existing customer equipment nationwide. Solutions primarily include DVL power control systems designed for hyperscale data center operators, covering controls for UPS, STS, ATS, generator reserve or catcher systems, and multi-generator or UPS monitoring systems. Additionally, this role involves upgrading existing PLC-operated generator & distribution switchgear through DVL Field Engineering Services.
The Sales Engineer will call on hyperscale data center operators and national consulting engineers involved in this sector. Orders are typically secured from large-scale electrical and general contractors contracted to build data centers.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING
- Engage with major engineering design firms involved in power control systems & solutions, identifying specific engineers and managers to present DVL solutions.
- Assist engineers with drawings and specifications to promote DVL systems.
- Follow up with contractors promptly to secure orders.
- Meet with end users to understand their operations and preferences.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, including supervising third-party participants and DVL team members.
- Collaborate with DVL Power Systems Engineering to refine products based on customer feedback.
- Maintain a pipeline log for future planning of personnel needs.
- Complete all required manufacturer and DVL training to gain product and service knowledge.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, capable of communicating in engineering terms.
- Relevant recent experience in applying and selling power distribution/control systems, with preference for integrated systems.
- Established relationships with technical customers and engineers in hyperscale data centers.
- Experience presenting and executing complex power solutions to data center end users and engineering firms.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to craft strategic solutions.
- Capability to prepare technical documentation collaboratively.
- Willingness to cold call and develop new prospects nationwide.
- Experience creating concept drawings in CAD systems is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, develop opportunities, and nurture end-user relationships.
- Willingness and ability to travel independently to customer locations across the country.

The compensation package includes a salary draw of $125,000 - $150,000/year, plus car allowance and unlimited commissions based on relevant sales experience.
