Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to lead technical engagements for the SecuritiAI portfolio. You will partner with a Securiti Sales Specialist and support 3–5 Account Executives and Solution Engineers as the trusted SME.

You will guide customers from needs assessment to solution design, deliver hands-on demos and proofs of concept, and articulate security value across data discovery, posture management, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in pre-sales or sales engineering.
• Strong understanding of data and/or cloud security.
• Effective communicator with technical and business stakeholders.
• 10+ years technical sales in security.
• 15+ years in Software/SaaS/Enterprise technical sales.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Familiar with data privacy/security standards (GDPR, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001).
• Experience with DSPM frameworks, Linux, Kubernetes, or cloud data systems.
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or cloud-specific.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for SecuritiAI during the sales cycle.
• Lead technical discussions and deliver customized security solutions.
• Address customer needs in data discovery, posture management and compliance.

About the Role:

Veeam, following its acquisition ofSecuritiAI - the leader in AI-powered data security posture management (DSPM) - isseeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive technical leadership in our sales team, focusing on theSecuritiAI portfolio. You will partner with aSecuritiSales Specialist and support 3–5 Account Executives and Veeam Solution Engineers as the technical subject matter expert.
