Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect in Pleasanton, CA to partner with prospects, craft tailored demos, and drive PoV engagements through the sales cycle. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence direction and create scalable assets while building the Solutions Engineering team.

The role demands 7+ years in technical pre-sales or related fields, deep knowledge of SRE/DevOps, cloud platforms, and strong communication to engage both technical and executive

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or customer-facing engineering roles supporting enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Background in vAI, Observability, AIOps, automation, and enterprise operations.
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with prospective customers to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored product demonstrations.
• Lead PoV engagements from discovery through implementation with measurable business and technical outcomes.
• Serve as trusted advisor across sales process; collaborate with Product and Engineering to drive customer success and scalable technical assets.
• Help build and grow the Solutions Engineering function in a high-growth startup.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will partner with prospective customers to understand technical requirements, deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to drive customer success, influence product direction, and develop scalable technical assets, while helping build and grow the Solutions Engineering function.

Job Details

• 7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or customer-facing engineering roles supporting enterprise SaaS solutions.
• A background in the following domains: vAI, Observability, AIOps, automation, and enterprise operations.
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Consistent history of achieving or surpassing sales and performance targets.
• Strong technical foundation in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure technologies, with hands-on experience in areas such as Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), observability, incident response, or cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to lead proof-of-value (PoV) engagements from initial discovery through implementation, demonstrating clear business and technical outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders, tailoring messaging to the audience.
• Comfortable working in a high-growth startup environment, demonstrating initiative, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience developing technical demos, integrations, automation, or scripts using tools such as Python, APIs, Terraform, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in helping clients achieve successful outcomes through technology adoption.
