Position Summary
The Senior Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end replenishment strategy, supply chain performance, and inventory optimization for the Walmart and Walmart.com businesses across multiple merchandise categories. This role serves as the primary liaison between Walmart Replenishment, Sales, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, and Operations, ensuring superior in-stock performance, forecast accuracy, inventory productivity, and service execution.
This position requires deep expertise in Walmart replenishment methodologies, inventory management, omnichannel fulfillment, demand forecasting, seasonal planning, promotional execution, and customer compliance programs. The Senior Replenishment Manager leverages POS insights, inventory analytics, and cross-functional leadership to deliver profitable growth, improve customer service metrics, and support the overall business strategy.
Replenishment Strategy & Customer Collaboration
- Serve as the primary replenishment lead and strategic business partner for Walmart Replenishment Managers across multiple categories.
- Develop and execute replenishment strategies that maximize in-stock performance while optimizing inventory investments and supply chain efficiency.
- Lead customer-facing discussions regarding inventory flow, forecast alignment, item performance, and service improvement initiatives.
- Drive collaborative planning efforts with Walmart to ensure inventory strategies support seasonal, promotional, and omnichannel growth objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment between customer expectations and internal capabilities.
Inventory Management & Supply Chain Performance
- Own customer inventory health, in-stock performance, weeks of supply, and key replenishment KPIs.
- Monitor inventory trends and identify risks and opportunities through proactive analysis of POS movement, forecast inputs, replenishment parameters, and inventory levels.
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve service interruptions, inventory imbalances, and supply chain inefficiencies.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions that improve forecast accuracy, inventory productivity, and customer service.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to optimize order patterns, inventory deployment, and replenishment execution.
Forecasting & Demand Planning Leadership
- Lead the integration of customer demand signals, promotional plans, and seasonal trends into a unified forecasting approach.
- Collaborate closely with Walmart Replenishment, Demand Planning, and Sales teams to establish forecast alignment and minimize demand variability.
- Evaluate forecast performance and proactively adjust assumptions to reduce forecast error and improve service levels.
- Support new item introductions, assortment transitions, and promotional events through comprehensive demand planning and inventory readiness strategies.
Analytics & Business Insights
- Leverage POS, inventory, replenishment, and supply chain data to identify business opportunities and operational risks.
- Deliver executive-level reporting and actionable insights to both customer and internal leadership teams.
- Translate complex business trends into strategic recommendations that support share growth, inventory optimization, and sales objectives.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools, scorecards, and dashboards that provide visibility into business performance and customer KPIs.
OTIF & Customer Service Excellence
- Lead initiatives to improve On Time In Full (OTIF) performance and customer service metrics across all transportation and fulfillment models.
- Partner with Logistics, Transportation, Customer Service, and Operations teams to identify and resolve service challenges.
- Establish sustainable processes that reduce compliance penalties, improve execution, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Track and analyze service failures, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Planning & Business Support
- Partner with Sales and Finance teams to reconcile budget variances associated with replenishment flow, inventory investments, and shipment performance.
- Evaluate replenishment and inventory decisions at both SKU and financial levels to support profitable growth.
- Provide strategic input into annual operating plans, customer business reviews, and long‑range planning processes.
- Identify risks and opportunities impacting revenue, inventory productivity, and service performance.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Finance, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in replenishment, customer supply chain, demand planning, inventory management, or related disciplines.
- Direct experience supporting Walmart and Walmart.com businesses.
- Advanced knowledge of Walmart replenishment methodology, inventory management principles, and supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Retail Link, Scintilla, Excel, and business intelligence tools.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive customer-focused solutions.
Preferred
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience.
- Knowledge of OTIF compliance programs and transportation operations.
- APICS, CSCP, or related supply chain certification.
Environmental Factors
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
- This position follows a flexible work arrangement that includes three days per week on-site in our Bentonville, AR office and two days per week working remotely.
