Job summary

Janes is seeking a Director of Sales in the United States to lead strategic enterprise sales across the defense and aerospace sectors. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—driving renewals and expanding existing accounts with a quota-driven approach.

• Proven track record in enterprise-wide software/data/services sales.
• Experience selling to aerospace/defense markets (DIB/A&D).
• Ability to engage mid-to-senior executives and build long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify decision makers and generate strong relationships and leads.
• Own territory with renewals, upsell, and year-over-year growth.
• Develop strategy for new business pursuits and future opportunities.
• Build customer relationships delivering year-on-year value.
• Collaborate with Sales, marketing, legal, success, and product teams.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline, and closure of opportunities.
• Grow and manage a continuous pipeline to support 12–18 month and longer-term growth.
