Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Associate who can function as a cashier and/or stocker and step into a lead role in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. You will help set and maintain plan-of-grams and programs while delivering exemplary customer service.

Key responsibilities include unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and process shipments per store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Greet customers and assist in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and handle payments.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
