The role emphasizes greeting customers, upselling, knowing department assortments, and supporting store operations including inventory, pricing and promotions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years customer service, retail, cash handling experience.
• Extensive knowledge of at least one department's product assortment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees, management, customers and vendors using both verbal and written skills.
• General knowledge of computer and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with needs; upsell and promote alternatives.
• Deliver expert product knowledge to assist customers.
• Escort customers to merchandise locations and suggest appropriate products.
• Handle cash register operations and price merchandise; complete daily counts.
