Senior SailPoint IAM Engineer — Identity Security

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to design, implement, and maintain SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions. The role focuses on identity lifecycle management, access governance, and compliance across enterprise environments.

You will lead technical delivery, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Security, Risk, Audit, Technology, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable IAM solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IAM experience.
• 5+ years with SailPoint ISC/IIQ implementations.
• Experience with lifecycle management, access certifications, provisioning/deprovisioning, RBAC/ABAC.
• Experience integrating IAM with AD, Entra ID, LDAP, HR systems, cloud/SaaS and relational databases.
• REST APIs, SCIM, Java/BeanShell/PowerShell/Python/SQL skills.
• Knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, MFA, and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across IAM initiatives, including requirements, design, testing, deployment and governance.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across projects.
• Collaborate with Security, Risk, Audit, Technology, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable IAM solutions.
• Support SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST compliance through controls.
